The girls travelled to Innerkip on Wednesday June 13th and came home with a 12-6 victory giving them 6 wins in 6 games so far this season.
The Extremes fell behind early in this contest but clawed their way back and eventually over powered the hometown Innerkip Selects. Allison Gorman started and pitched well for the Extremes before giving way to reliever Hannah Tait. Aaliyah Earle made a "highlight reel" out from 3rd base to record the first out in the second inning to jump start the Extremes. This "out" was the start of a 3 up- 3 down inning for the Selects and was the spark our team needed both on defence and offence. Erika Foran continued her hot batting in this tilt as she has done this season. Strong all around games from Kennedy Borland, Samantha Andrews and Lianne Taylor helped out in the win.The Extremes will travel to St. Marys on Tuesday June 19th where they will try to keep their winning streak alive before returning home on Wednesday to play Zurich @ 6:45pm.
