A Team Win
The Extremes travelled to Lieury on Monday June 25th with only 9 players for various reasons but put together a complete team win pushing their league record to 9-0.
This complete team win was contagious as the pitching, hitting and defence were all on display and was wide spread throughout the lineup. Supplying the great pitching for Exeter was Allison Gorman and Erika Foran. The Extremes pounded out 18 hits with many of them being extra bases.Morgan Lewis went 3 for 3 along with Hannah Tait, Lianne Talyor and Emma Keller going 2 for 2. Brooklyn Rau & Erika Foran hit triples and Maddi Livermore crushing a double. Maddi also had a hot glove snarling a line drive at 3rd base. Center Fielder Kennedy Borland made an amazing running catch (like former Blue Jay Devon White) to register the last out of the game. The next action for the Extremes will be this Wednesday June 27th as they host New Hamburg at Extreme field at 6:45pm.
