Extremes are on a Roll
The Extremes have extended their record to 5-0 in the first three weeks of the season.
The girls started fast out of the gate scoring 5 runs in their first at bat and maybe took the 0-3 "Thunder" for granted. In the 2nd inning the girls only managed to send 3 batters to the plate. The middle part of the game was evenly played and the Extremes held on and eventually out scored Zurich in 4th and 5th innings winning 13-8. Left hander Erika Foran started for the Extremes and spotted the ball well in a quality start. Allison Gorman came in for 2 strong innings in mid relief to keep the Extremes ahead. Hannah Tait pitched a solid 5th inning to nail down the the victory. Brooklyn Rau led the offence with 2 strong hits and Morgan Lewis, Kyla Chapman, Emma Keller, Hannah Tait and Erika Foran adding one each. The next action for the Extremes will be on Wednesady June 13th @ 7:00 when they travel to Innerkip.
