Major Rookie Tier 1, 2012, Baseball (Exeter Minor Ball)

Hello again!  Just sending the address for the ball diamonds.  Pretty easy to get to.  1741 Jasperson Rd. Kingsville Driving Instructions: From Hwy-401: Hwy-401 to Hwy-77 South. Proceed south on Hwy-77 to CR-20 (Seacliff Drive). Turn right on Seacliff Dr. (CR-20) and proceed west approx. 10 km to Jasperson Road. Turn right on Jasperson Rd. and proceed north to Diamonds on the right.

The team seems ready to have a great weekend in Kingsville!  Our first game is Saturday morning, 11:00 am vs. Ingersoll at diamond #1.  Please be there by 10:15 at the latest.  Please expect to play at least three games on Saturday.  Our second game will be at 1:30 (win) or 3:30 (lose).  Our third game will be either 5:30 or 7:30.  We need to win two games to get to the semi's on Sunday!  Get lots of rest this week guys - we need 100% from everyone every game!  See you tonight (Wednesday) at practice!  Jeff

This weekend is the league (WOBA) championship tournament in Mitchell.  Our First game is Friday night at 6:30 against Clinton.  This will be a tough tournament, as the top three teams all finished tied for first place.  Anyone can win this thing, including us.  We just need to bring our "A" game!  Good luck everyone, play hard! Please note that the rescheduled game in Listowel will be August 9th at 6:30 pm, Optimist Park.  Please let me know ASAP if you can not make it.  We owe them a game due to cancellation in June.  It will be put into our team calendar on the website asap. 

Express Sr. Rookie Tier 1 spoiled "Baseball day in Clinton" for the home town Clinton Rookies on a very hot Saturday afternoon.  The bats came alive and the defence played very well in a lop-sided win for the Express.  Everyone played well, especially Cooper Parsons with a great defensive game and Damien Willert belted a three-run home run in the win.  Exeter went without a strike-out through the whole game, which showed on the score-board.  the Rookies play at home Monday night against a ver tough Listowel team at 6:30 pm.
