Tie with Goderich 8-8!
As expected the Goderich Seahawks were a tough test. This back and forth game had Goderich jump out to a 1-0 lead only to be erased by Jacob Ryan's Grand Slam. After some good pitching and defense we had a 6-1 lead after 3 innings.
The fourth inning brought a 6 run outburst from the big hitting Goderich team which turned the tables. They added another run the next inning keeping us off the board with their deep pitching rotation. Our patience at the plate in the bottom of the last inning drew some walks and was capped by a wild pitch allowing us to tie the game with 2 out.
Excellent game against this predominately second year team. Great work boys.
