Thank you for registering your player for 18U hardball for the 2025 season!
We will be fielding 3 teams at this age group for the upcoming season and we are looking forward to getting started.
2 x WOBA teams participating in the WOBA loop and playing 12-14 games1 x OBA team participating in the LDBA (London) league and playing approx 20 games
League 'home' games and practices will be in Exeter at Alvin Willert Field in Exeter for all 3 teams.
Players named to the OBA team will participate in approx 4 games with one of the WOBA teams.
We understand that families book vacations and many at this age group will have employment commitments for the summer. Once teams are sorted, we can look at scheduling to accommodate and keep all 3 teams playing while allowing for other commitments.
WOBA Championship weekend is scheduled for Sept 2-7 with a location yet to be determined.
The WOBA players will be split into 2 equal teams after OBA tryouts have been completed.
For those interested in playing on the OBA team, we are hoping that the weather cooperates to host tryouts in the near future. Information will be sent out to all registered players as soon as it is available.
We expect LDBA regular season travel distances to be similar or less than what is required for WOBA, if interested, the Diamond locations for LDBA can be seen at the link below. Please note all teams listed are not necessarily participating in the same 18U loop.
OBA Provincial weekend for this age group is Aug 14-17
Additional fees charged for the OBA team will be determined as soon as possible and based on actual costs incurred.
