Pre-Mite 2, 2012, Pre-Mite (Exeter Minor Ball)

It' s hard to believe that our season of baseball is over - we had an amazing time! Congrats to all of the Team Orange Players - Abbie K, Kayla O, Abbey A, Karlee T, Molly T, Jessie G and Carlie R (and also to Maiya K. for playing with us for the last 2 weeks when we were short players!).  The girls all improved so much and really showed their skills at the final wrap up day. We had a great wrap up day - Team Orange won for Best Cheer, and the girls also made an awesome banner.  The mascot was pretty cute too!  A big thanks to Exeter Dairy Queen for sponsoring the lunch that day, and ...

Way to go Abbie Kennedy - our home run hitter!  Abbie is the DQ Player of the game for this week - congrats. We are almost finished the baseball season and it has been a great time.  The girls have all improved SO much and they are truly loving the game. This week - Practice Wednesday at Extreme and Game on Thursday.  Wrap up day is Saturday!

Congrats to Abbey Ansems for winning the DQ Player of the Week!  Abbey has excellent aim and manages to hit coach Chris all the time when she is up to bat!  Great hitting Abbey! We are getting ready for the wrap up day on July 28 and have some good ideas for our team banner, mascot and cheer.  Please let me know if you require a DQ meal for any siblings who will be at the tourney. Have a great weekend - next week practice Wednesday and game on Thursday.

Another great game was played by Team 2 on Monday night.  The DQ Stars of the Game were Kayla Orr and Carlie Regier.  Excellent batting by both girls, way to go. The players are all showing so much improvement, and everyone seems to love the game.  Congrats to all of the player. Practice tonight at Extreme at 5:15.  Next week is our team photo on Wednesday so  practice will be at Precious Blood.  Be sure to come in full uniform.

Team 2 played an amazing game this past Saturday as part of Baseball Day in Exeter, and our DQ Player of the Week was Abbey Ansems.  Abbey had a great game, very strong in both batting and outfield.  Great game Abbey! Our regular practice this week on Wedneday is cancelled, so we will see you at the game on Thursday at 5:30 pm at PB.  Remember your water bottles!
