Volunteer Job Descriptions
Manager- Communicate with the coach and team regarding game and practice schedules
-Get team contact information
-Manage the team website; submit articles, scores if approved by coach
-Set up schedule for diamond prep, score keepers and pitch count
DIAMOND PREP(for games AND practices-ask the coach)- Line diamonds(for games only) and position bases(games and practice)
- Ensure lime for liner
- Remove bases after game/practice, if last scheduled
- Setup/take down pitching machine
PLEASE ALLOW ENOUGH TIME BEFORE GAMES and PRACTICE TO SET UP BEFORE TEAMS ARRIVE TO WARM UP- Diamonds must be done approx.30 minutes before
YOU MUST DO 1/2 OF THE TIME TO QUALIFY FOR YOUR HOURS!!!
